Tour Itinerary 2027 total solar eclipse Day by day
DAY 1 : Start Your 10-Day Morocco Tour from Marrakech
Arrive at Marrakech airport and transfer directly to your accommodation. Rest and settle in after your flight, with the rest of the day free at your own pace.
DAY 2 – MARRAKECH TO DADES VALLEY
Depart Marrakech and cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass, stopping at scenic viewpoints along the way. Arrive in the Dades Valley and overnight surrounded by dramatic gorge landscapes.
DAY 3 – DADES TO SAHARA DESERT
Continue east through the Todra Gorge en route to Merzouga. In the afternoon, trade your vehicle for a camel and ride into the dunes of the Sahara for an overnight desert camp under the stars.
DAY 4 – MERZOUGA TO FES
Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes before beginning the scenic drive north to Fes, passing through the Middle Atlas along the way.
DAY 5 – FES GUIDED TOUR
Spend the day exploring Fes with a local guide the medina, traditional tanneries, artisan workshops, and historic landmarks of one of Morocco’s oldest imperial cities.
DAY 6 – FES TO CHEFCHAOUEN
Travel north from Fes to Chefchaouen, Morocco’s famous “Blue City,” known for its blue-washed streets and relaxed mountain-town atmosphere.
DAY 7 – FREE DAY IN CHEFCHAOUEN
A full day to explore Chefchaouen at your own pace wander the blue medina, browse local shops, visit scenic viewpoints, and enjoy the town’s calm, family-friendly charm.
DAY 8 – CHEFCHAOUEN TO TANGIER
Leave Chefchaouen and head to Tangier, where the Mediterranean meets the Atlantic. Settle in and prepare for the main event the next morning.
DAY 9 – TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE
The highlight of the trip. Travel to the selected viewing area near Tangier for the total solar eclipse, with plenty of time to arrive early and enjoy the experience safely with your family.
DAY 10 – DEPARTURE
Transfer to the airport for your flight home, bringing an unforgettable family journey to a close.
