On the first day of your 5 Days Marrakech to Merzouga tour, we’ll depart from your accommodation in Marrakech and head toward the majestic High Atlas Mountains. As we ascend the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass, sitting at 2,260 meters above sea level, you’ll enjoy panoramic views and multiple photo stops along this breathtaking mountain route.

Our journey continues to the iconic Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and Morocco’s most famous filming location. This historic ksar, nearly a thousand years old, has been featured in major productions such as Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, and Game of Thrones. Once a vital stop for caravans traveling between Marrakech and the Sahara, the kasbah offers a glimpse into Morocco’s rich architectural and cultural heritage.

After a guided visit and lunch, we’ll follow the legendary Route of a Thousand Kasbahs toward Dades Valley. Along the way, we’ll pass through Kalaat M’Gouna, also known as the Valley of Roses. This charming town bursts into color each spring as millions of Damascus roses bloom, and it hosts Morocco’s annual Rose Festival every May. We’ll arrive in Dades Valley by evening, where you’ll enjoy a relaxing overnight stay surrounded by dramatic landscapes.
